Dominican Tourist card is an entry form usually included on your vacation package deal. Otherwise you can purchase it directly at the airport of entry in the Dominican Republic or at this Embassy. This document allows a tourist stay of up to 30 days.

Notes:

(1) Visitors willing to extend their stay in our country can either pay an extra fee at the airport before departing the Dominican Republic or visit departure or visit the Immigration Department in Santo Domingo requesting the extension.

WITH A TOURIST VISA:

In order to enter the Dominican Republic, citizens of the following countries will require a visa:

Abkhazia, Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Benin, Bhutan, Bosnia and Foreign residents in Canada do not require visa to travel to the Dominican Republic. They need a valid passport from their country of origin together with an official proof of temporary or permanent residence in Canada.
